Oconee Fire and Rescue Assisting in Search for Missing Man in Oglethorpe County
Volunteers are asked to meet in Maxeys, Ga. Sunday morning to help look for 72-year-old Don Truluck.

UPDATE: Don Truluck has been found alive.
An extensive search is underway in Oglethorpe County for a 72-year-old man who has been missing since Wednesday afternoon.
Don Truluck's last known location was a deer camp at 714 Bryant Road in Maxeys, Ga. He was last seen wearing a camouflage shirt, blue jeans, and brown loafers, the Oglethorpe County Emergency Management Agency reported Saturday on its Facebook Page. 11 Alive News reports he is 5 feet tall, 160 pounds.

According to the TV station, a missing person's report was filed on Friday and authorities have been searching for two days.
Don Truluck is the father of Oconee County Fire and Rescue Station 8 Assistant Chief Mike Truluck, according to a Nixle alert sent by Oconee officials.

Volunteers are asked to meet at 8 a.m. Sunday at 714 Bryant Road in Maxeys to join a search party. Contact Eddy Thaxton at 706-202-4607 for more information about the volunteer effort.
