Oconee County Adds Fourth COVID-19 Death In Three Days

Clarke County adds two confirmed deaths and a third death in a long-term care facility.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Thursday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • Oconee County added its fourth confirmed COVID-19 death in three days.
  • Clarke County added two confirmed deaths in the Department of Public Health Daily Status Report and one death in the Department of Community Health Long-Term Care Facility Report.
  • The Northeast Health District as a whole added nine new confirmed COVID-19 deaths, and the seven-day rolling average increased.
  • The District added 306 new cases of the disease, and the seven-day rolling average dropped for the sixth day in a row.
  • Oconee County Schools informed parents of three new positive tests for COVID-19 at schools on Thursday.
