Oconee County Government buildings will remain closed to the public throughout the entire period of the Governor’s State of Emergency Order, which expires on May 13. Residents may conduct government business online or by phone or email during this time. Oconee County Government continues to actively monitor the evolving situation and currently plans to allow public access to government buildings, including the Courthouse, Government Annex, and Board of Elections office, beginning May 14, with enhanced cleaning protocols and social distancing measures in effect.
