Please continue to follow social distancing protocols and recommendations from the CDC to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Governor Kemp has extended the state of emergency for Georgia through June 12. Though the statewide shelter-in-place order expired last night at midnight, Governor Kemp urges individuals to continue to stay at home whenever possible. In addition, certain groups are required to continue to shelter in place through June 12. These groups include:
- People aged 65 or over
- People in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, community living arrangements, etc.
- People with chronic lung disease
- People with moderate to severe asthma (individuals who experience symptoms at least daily, wake up at least one night per week from symptoms, use short-acting beta agonist for symptom control, have some limitation on normal activity)
- People with severe heart disease
- People who are immunocompromised
- People with class III (BMI 40 or over) or severe obesity (over 100 pounds past healthy body weight)
- People with diabetes
- People with liver disease
- People with chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis
