The Oconee County Parks & Recreation Department will begin Phase II of its re-opening on Monday, June 1.
All park patrons must comply with social distancing requirements, max gathering limits and other COVID-19 best practices.

Phase II – June 1
- Walking paths, trails and dog park remain open.
- All indoor park facilities, to include gymnasiums, fitness center, indoor track, restrooms and meeting rooms remain closed.
- Playgrounds remain closed to the public.
- Outdoor athletic facilities open for recreational use; open for instruction and organized practices; no game activity permitted. Must follow reservation and payment policies.
- HCM Disc Golf course open.
- Outdoor picnic pavilion open.
- Outdoor park facilities open daily until sunset.
- No rentals, events or programs for groups over 25.
- Social distancing requirements must be met and no gatherings over 25.
All reopening plans and dates are subject to change pending patron compliance and any new established guidelines.
