Oconee County Records 49th COVID-19 Death; NE District Adds 14

- Northeast Health District Added 14 confirmed COVID-19 Deaths and 325 new cases of the disease.
- The deaths were spread across seven of the 10 counties in the Northeast Health District.
- Oconee County recorded its 49th confirmed death from COVID-19.
- The seven-day rolling average of added deaths dropped just slightly.
- The seven-day rolling average of added cases continued to decrease and is now on a five-day decline.
- The University of Georgia reported a slight increase is the number of positive tests for COVID-19 based on testing locally.
- Across the state, an additional 46,518 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, and the total number of administered doses is now more than 1 million.
