The Northeast Health District added nine COVID-19 confirmed deaths and 182 new cases of the disease.

One of the added confirmed deaths was of a 56-year-old male in Oconee County without a chronic condition. Oconee County also had added a death on Friday.
The rolling averages of number of added cases of COVID-19 dropped in both Oconee and Clarke counties.
Area hospitals reported three fewer COVID-19 patients than the day before, and the number of COVID-19 patients has declined for six days in a row.
Across the state, 77.9 percent of the allocated COVID-19 vaccine has been administered.
