Jan. 15

• Daniel Ray Moore, 27, of Jefferson, was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
• A 23-year-old Rome man was charged with DUI.
• A Watkinsville man, 29, was charged with driving while license suspended.
• A 32-year-old Athens woman was charged with driving while license suspended.
• Michael Lean Brown, 50, of Old Salem Road, was booked into the jail as a sentenced inmate.
• An Athens man, 56, was charged with DUI-refusal and open container.
• A 19-year-old Athens man was charged with DUI, failure to obey authorities and underage possession of alcohol.
• A Gainesville man, 41, was charged with DUI, driving without a valid license and failure to maintain lane.
• A 24-year-old Statham man was charged with driving while license suspended.
• An Athens man, 48, was charged with DUI and speeding.

Jan. 14

• A Watkinsville woman, 26, was charged with misdemeanor theft by shoplifting.
• A 22-year-old man from Barnett Shoals Road was charged with DUI-refusal, speeding, and expired tag.
• A Madison woman, 31, was charged with misdemeanor theft by shoplifting.
• A 45-year-old Clarkston man was charged with driving without a license and violation of a taillight requirement.
• A 49-year-old man from East Haven Trail was charged with contempt of court.

Jan. 13

• A 23-year-old Mableton resident was charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

Jan. 12

• Wanda Jan Ashe, 48, of Price Mill Road, was charged with probation violation.
• A 19-year-old man from Elder Heights Road was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and failure to dim headlights.

Jan. 11

• Steven Chance Massey, 23, of Hull, was charged with three counts of purchase, possession, manufacture, or distribution of drugs; possession of marijuana less than one ounce; possession of prescription drugs; drugs not kept in original containers; and speeding. On Jan. 13 Massey was also charged with parole violation.
• Kirsten Danielle Jones, 22, of Bogart, was charged with three counts of  purchase, possession, manufacture, or distribution of drugs; possession of marijuana; and two counts of drugs not kept in the original containers.
• Joey Edward Harp, 44, was charged with probation violation, simple battery, and cruelty to children in the 3rd degree.

Jan. 10

• A Commerce man was charged with misdemeanor theft by shoplifting.
• A Doraville man was booked on a charge of giving a false name.

Jan. 9

• A Hull man was charged with speeding, no proof of insurance, and improper tag.
