Oconee Sheriff's Office Crime Report

The following information was gathered from Oconee County Jail booking reports and incident reports:

July 24

• April Lyn Merritt, 32, of Greenville, S.C., was charged with driving on a suspended license.

July 23

• Billy Charles Lewallen, 45, of Commerce, was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting.
• George Herman Jones, 54, of South Burson Ave. was charged with driving on a suspended license.
• Tareze Damonerell Hillsman, 17, of Laurel Drive, was charged with probation violation.

July 22

• Pablo Andres Gaviria-Matiz, 17, of Deni Ct. was charged with interference with government property.

July 21

• , 28, and Sara Dawn Barfield, 30, of Alpine Court were charged with one count each of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
• Roger Lee Thomas, 31, of the Dowdy Road, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and .  Larry Joe Dulaney, 50, of Epps Bridge Road and John Norman Thomas, 41, of Old Epps Bridge Road were each charged with one count possession of marijuana.
• Carla A. Moore, 41, of Tamara Ct., was charged with driving without a license and no insurance. 

July 20

• , 21, of Rhodes Drive in Athens, was booked into the Oconee County Jail on charges of aggravated assault and armed robbery.
• Anthony Graigh Taylor, 23, of Colbert, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, unregistered motor vehicle, and tail lights requirements.

July 19

• Jose Frank Navarro, 47, of Loganville, was charged with probation violation.
• David Lamar Mullinax, 24, of McRee Street, was arrested and charged with loitering/prowling and possession of tools for commission of a crime. 
• Steven Howard Waite, Jr., 29, of West Park Drive in Athens, was  charged with probation violation.
