Watkinsville Police Called to Mediate Argument Over Patio Furniture

Watkinsville police last week were called to a Cedar Drive address after neighbors got into a shouting match.

According to Chief Lee O'Dillon, the argument on July 31 was about the location of some outside patio furniture.  

Both sides agreed to stay apart until the furniture could be moved, he said.

In other city police news, officers responded to a traffic accident on Sunday evening.

A 2006 Dodge Ram backed into a parked 1997 Ford Super Duty truck at 7580 North Main Street. No one was injured, but both trucks suffered minor damage.

Watkinsville police answered a total of 28 calls within city limits between July 29-Aug. 4, 2013.  Information in this report comes Watkinsville Police in the form of a news release.
