Roller derby double header at The Classic Center Arena this Saturday in downtown Athens

ATHENS, Ga. – Get ready for a full night of roller derby action this Saturday, Aug. 23 at The Classic Center Arena in downtown Athens!
The double header begins at 5 p.m. with the Atlanta Men’s Roller Derby facing off against the Greenville Atom Bombs.
At 7 p.m., the Classic City Rollergirls will take on the Greenville Derby Dames.

Tickets are $12 per bout ($14 at the door) or $20 for both bouts ($22 at the door). Visit ClassicCenter.com to buy tickets.
A portion of the proceeds from this bout will benefit the Athens Community Council on Aging. The Council aims to maintain and enrich the lives of the elderly in the 12 counties of Northeast Georgia by offering programs that enable them to live independently at home and offer opportunities for employment, volunteerism, and other activities.

This is the final home bout of the season for the Classic City Rollergirls. The team moved its home games to The Classic Center Arena this year, which allows for larger capacity at bouts as well as downtown Athens convenience for attendees.
