Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Saturday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • The seven-day rolling average of added COVID-19 cases increased for the fourth day in a row in the Northeast Health District.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added deaths dropped for the second day in a row.
  • The District added 211 new cases and three new deaths confirmed as due to COVID-19.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases increased both in Oconee and
  • The number of hospital patients with COVID-19 in area hospitals decreased.
  • The Northeast Health District lags the state in the percentage of the population having received the second COVID-19 vaccine.
