Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Sunday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • The seven-day rolling average of added COVID-19 cases increased for the fifth day in a row in the Northeast Health District on Sunday.
  • The District added no new confirmed deaths from the disease, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths remained unchanged.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases increased both in Oconee and Clarke counties.
  • The number of hospital patients with COVID-19 in area hospital decreased.
  • The Northeast Health District is falling behind the state in administration of COVID-19 vaccinations.
