Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Monday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases of COVID-19 increased again in the Northeast Health District and is now back to just below its level on Feb. 16.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases increased in both Oconee and Clarke counties.
  • The District added four deaths—including one in Clarke County--and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths declined.
  • The number of COVID-19 patients in area hospitals declined, as it has for the last six days.
  • The Department of Public Health reported the allocation of 463,610 new doses of vaccines to the state, including 83,000 of the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
