Rolling Average COVID Deaths Down In NE Health District, Cases Up
Oconee County Schools reported an increase in the number of Active Cases and Active Quarantines.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Friday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
- The Northeast Health District added only one death from COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths dropped sharply.
- The District added 214 new cases of COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases increased for the third day in a row.
- Oconee County Schools reported increases in the number of Active Cases and Active Quarantines over a week ago.
- The Department of Community Health has not reported any COVID-19 deaths at the District’s long-term care facilities since Feb. 9.
- Area hospitals reported a drop in the number of COVID-19 patients.
- The state reported shipment of 164,060 additional doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
