Rolling Averages Of Added COVID Cases, Deaths Drop In NE District
Clarke County adds third COVID-19 death in last two days.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Friday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
- The seven-day rolling averages of added COVID-19 deaths and cases declined in the Northeast Health District on Friday.
- One of the three confirmed deaths was in Clarke County, the third COVID-19 death in the last two days.
- The District added only 226 new cases, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases fell below 300 for the first time since Dec. 12.
- The rolling averages of added cases dropped in both Oconee and Clarke counties.
- Oconee County Schools reported 13 Active Cases and 97 Active Quarantines, down from 25 Active Cases and 166 Quarantines a week ago.
- The state reported on Friday administration of an additional 48,640 doses of the vaccine, and nearly three-quarters of the shipped vaccine now has been administered.
