Rolling Averages Of Added COVID Cases Up In Oconee, Clarke

The rolling seven day average also is up in the Northeast Health District as a whole.

Below is a brief summary of local findings regarding COVID-19 on Sunday as reported by the state of Georgia.

  • The Northeast Health District added 449 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, with Oconee County adding 39 and Clarke County adding 97.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases increased in the District to 521.9 cases per day, in Oconee County to 49.6 cases per day, and in Clarke County to 93.1.
  • All of these rolling averages are at a record high level.
  • The District did not add any new deaths from COVID-19 on Sunday.
  • Area hospitals reported 267 COVID-19 patients, a new record, representing just more than four in 10 of the patients in the hospitals.
