Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Monday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • The Northeast Health District added five confirmed deaths from COVID-19 in the Monday Department of Public Health Daily Status Report and 116 new cases of the disease.
  • The seven-day rolling averages of added confirmed deaths and added cases dropped slightly.
  • Clarke County added a confirmed death—of a 59-year-old male. None of the five added confirmed deaths on Monday had a chronic condition.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases in both Oconee and Clarke counties changed only slightly on Monday.
  • The state received an allocation of an additional 262,825 doses of COVID-19 vaccine on Monday.
