Rolling Averages COVID Cases, Deaths In NE Health District Steady
Jackson County added a death, and the District added 35 cases.

The seven-day rolling averages of added COVID-19 deaths and cases in the Northeast Health District held steady on Monday after three days of slight growth in both indicators.
The 10-county District added 1 new death–the same as on Monday a week ago--and 35 new cases, down from the 36 added a week ago, based on data released by the Department of Public Health in its Daily Status Report.
The seven-day rolling average of added COVID-19 deaths held stead at 2.3, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases dropped from 83.4 on Sunday to 83.3 on Monday.

The death was of an 81-year-old female in Jackson County with a chronic condition.
The 35 cases were spread across the District, with only Morgan County not adding cases. Oconee County added three cases, and Clarke County added two.

The Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) reported on Monday that the number of COVID-19 patients at area hospitals (47) decreased from the day before, that the number of ICU beds in use (61) increased from the day before, and that the number of adult ventilators in use (26) was the same as the day before.
The Department of Public Health did not report positivity rates for molecular tests in either Oconee Clarke or Clarke County again on Monday.
