SUV Vandalized in Watkinsville
The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville Police Department.

In his weekly news release, Chief Lee O'Dillon recapped some of the incidents that police responded to during the week ending Oct. 9.
- Around 3 p.m. on Oct. 4, a 2011 Honda Pilot was bumped from behind by a 1999 Ford Explorer on Experiment Station Road at North Main Street. No one was injured. The teenage driver of the Explorer was charged with following too closely.
- Late Saturday night, Oct. 8, police were called to a domestic situation at a Hight Drive address. The argument erupted over use of a sport utility vehicle. One person had left the residence before police arrived.
- Sunday evening police took a report at a Thrasher Drive residence of someone having vandalized a parked Nissan. The SUV’s paint was badly scratched in several areas.
Watkinsville police responded to a total of 28 calls within city limits between Monday, Oct. 3 and Sunday, Oct. 9.
