The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville police department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

In his weekly news release, Chief Lee O'Dillon recapped some of the incidents that police responded to during the week ending Sept. 11.
- No one was injured when a 2003 Mercedes was bumped from behind by a 2005 V.W. Passat on Experiment Station Road at North Main Street on Sept. 6. An Athens man was cited for following too closely.
- Officers and a medical unit responded to South Main Street at New High Shoals Road after a 1998 Ford F-150 left the roadway and overturned around 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 6. The driver, Jose Enrique Aquino-Cisneros, 26, of Doraville, sustained minor injuries. Aquino-Cisneros was charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane.
- One man was arrested following a domestic incident at a Stone Shoals Subdivision address around 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 11. Matthew Brian Patrick, 31, of 1040 Stone Shoals Court, was charged with battery.
Watkinsville police responded to a total of 32 calls within city limits between Monday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 11.
