• Why deer sharpshooters are expected in Peachtree Corners this fall (wsbtv.com) — Peachtree Corners is preparing for federally run deer sharpshooting this fall after studies found the city's herd nearly eight times higher than recommended levels and many residents reporting damage and near-collisions. Officials are coordinating with Georgia DNR and USDA Wildlife Services, limiting culls to approved large properties, and planning a town hall where wildlife experts will answer residents' questions.
