Today's riddle: What is clean when it is black and dirty when it is white? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• City of Rincon introduces new fall tradition (wsav.com) — Rincon is launching a new two-night Bucktoberfest celebration at Freedom Park this Friday and Saturday, blending a professional IPRA rodeo with an Oktoberfest-style festival. Gates open at 5 p.m. with the rodeo at 6:30 p.m., plus food trucks, a beer garden, local vendors, and family activities. Bleacher seating is provided, and lawn chairs are welcome, but coolers are not allowed.
• Local tow service company honors driver who passed (wsav.com) — In Rincon, Rahn's Wrecking Service is honoring a driver killed on the job by urging motorists to follow Georgia's Slow Down Move Over law. Operations manager Corey Rahn describes how heavy truck traffic on I‑95, Highway 21, and I‑16 makes roadside work increasingly dangerous. The company hopes sharing their loss will remind drivers to slow down, move over, and stay alert.
