This roundup also lists many other ghost tours across metro Atlanta and Georgia, with dates, prices, and age recommendations so you can plan Halloween-season outings that match your kids' scare tolerance and schedule.
• Northern Ridge District names September Eagle Scouts (appenmedia.com) — Local Scouts from the Northern Ridge District, which includes Roswell, have earned their Eagle rank after completing service projects ranging from school trail work to church improvements and animal shelter support. One new Eagle, sponsored by Roswell United Methodist Church, built and stained six picnic tables for a learning community. The group passed their Eagle boards of review in late September in Alpharetta.
• Roswell Couple dies in I-85 Crash in Franklin County on Saturday (wnegradio.com) — A Roswell couple in their early 60s died after their car hydroplaned on a wet stretch of I-85 in Franklin County Saturday afternoon, according to state troopers. Both were taken to a local hospital, where they later died from their injuries. Investigators say impairment is not suspected, and next of kin have been notified.
