The 250th Anniversary of the United States, July 4th , 2026

SAR Piedmont Chapter and SAR Mount Vernon Chapter join together along with the DAR and CAR local Chapters to Celebrate America's 250th Aniiversary of the United States on the Fourth of July 2026 at a parade in Dunwoody, Georgia. The SAR , DAR and CAR joined communities across the nation in celebrating a truly historic Fourth of July as America marked the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Continuing an annual chapter tradition, Piedmont members participated in the Dunwoody Fourth of July Parade, working in partnership with the Mount Vernon Chapter and alongside members of several DAR and C.A.R. chapters. The parade once again provided a wonderful opportunity to share the spirit of the Sons of the American Revolution with thousands of spectators gathered along the route.

The Sons of the American Revolution is a national patriotic, historical and educational society whose members are direct descendants of the patriots who earned our independence.
