On July 15, 2026, The Sons of the American Revolution, SAR Piedmont Chapter, under the leadership of SAR Piedmont Chapter President, Ron Redner dedicated an America 250 Bench at historic Bulloch Hall in Roswell, Georgia. The bench was dedicated in honor of the 250th Anniversary of our nation's birth and in honor and memory of Theodore Roosevelt, Jr., the Twenty-Sixth President of the United States. Why Teddy Roosevelt? President Roosevelt was the son of Mittie Bulloch Roosevelt of the Bulloch Family who lived in Bulloch Hall. In attendance at this event were representatives from the SAR Piedmont Chapter; Button Gwinnett Chapter SAR; Captain John Collins Chapter SAR; Mount Vernon Chapter SAR; Martha Stewart Bulloch Chapter DAR; Kennesaw Mountain Chapter DAR; Martha Stewart Bulloch Chapter C.A.R.; Roswell Mayor Mary Robichaux; Roswell City Council members Jennifer Phillipi, Christine Hall, and Allen Sells; the Roswell Historical Society; and of course, a number of representatives from the Friends of Bulloch, led by President Bob Hagan. The Friends of Bulloch is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting continued care and preservation of Bulloch Hall. Our thanks to all who came out to support the dedication ceremony.
