SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Georgia Department of Transportation contractors will close one lane on the Mt. Vernon Highway bridge over S.R. 400 this week as part of the project to rebuild the interchange with I-285.The lane closures will go into effect nightly from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12 and Tuesday, Dec. 13. GDOT warns the exact dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are asked to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers. <hr />Image via Patch
