2015 Movies By Moonlight Lineup Announced

The annual series hosted by Leadership Sandy Springs will be held at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church's Activity Center lawn.

With just a few more weeks to go before the start of the 2015 Movies By Moonlight series, Leadership Sandy Springs has released this year’s slate of films.

Kicking off the series will be “Big Hero 6,” which chronicles a young robotics prodigy who forms a team to take on a masked villan. That film will be shown on Friday, Aug. 21.

Next up will be “Home,” an endearing film about a lovable alien. The kiddos will get to enjoy that flick on Friday, Aug. 28.

Rounding out this year’s lineup will be ”Cinderella,” a live-action remake of the 1950s animated classic. Youngsters can catch that movie on Friday, Sept. 25.

Movies By Moonlight, a free, outdoor familly-friendly event for the community, will be held at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church’s Activity Center lawn.

Food and concessions will be served starting at 6 p.m., and the movies will start at dusk. In the event of potential inclement weather on the day of the movie, call (404) 256-9091 for an update. Information will be posted around 6 p.m. that day.

The activity center lawn is across the church at 86 Mt. Vernon Highway in Sandy Springs.
