A resident is in critical condition, and four lanes are blocked following a three vehicle accident that occurred Friday evening in Sandy Springs.

The crash occurred at 5:50 p.m. eastbound on Interstate 285 at Glenridge Drive, said Sandy Springs police spokesperson Sgt. Ron Momon.
Momon said traffic investigators are on the scene due to the seriousness of the crash. The victim was transported to Northside Hospital and is listed in critical condition.
