4 Fulton Students Named 2018 Georgia Scholars
Two students from Roswell, one from North Springs and another from Riverwood were recognized with the honor.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Four Fulton County Schools students were among the 208 high school seniors who were recognized this week as 2018 Georgia Scholars. The four seniors honored by the Georgia Department of Education were Roswell High School’s Anna Ziegler and Henna Mian, North Springs Charter High School’s Mary Frances Kitchens and Riverwood International Charter School’s Chris Sprung.
Through the Georgia Scholar program, the state identifies and honors high school seniors who have achieved excellence in school and community life. Eligibility for Scholar recognition includes demonstration of excellence in all phases of school life, in community activities and in the home.
Students must have carried exemplary course loads during their four years, have performed excellently in all courses, have successfully participated in interscholastic events at their schools and in their communities, and have assumed active roles in extracurricular, school-sponsored activities. Each Scholar recipient will receive a seal for his or her's diploma.
