Sandy Springs Fourth of July Fireworks, Weather Forecast

The city's Stars and Stripes Celebration will be held on Sunday, July 2 at the Concourse lawn.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The city of Sandy Springs is putting the final touches on its fifth annual Stars and Stripes Celebration.

The city's fireworks extravaganza will be held Sunday, July 2 at the Concourse lawn. The community is invited to bring a picnic and enjoy an evening under the stars for this popular holiday tradition.

“It is a coming together of the community in celebration,” said Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul. “It’s friends and neighbors getting together to enjoy the summer night and spectacular fireworks.”

The official viewing area for the fireworks show will be the lawn at the concourse at 5 Concourse Parkway. You can take advantage of free parking, which opens at 6:30 p.m., in parking decks 5 and 6.

Music from Shiloh will kick off at 7:30 p.m., and the fireworks will light up Sandy Springs skies beginning at 9:45 p.m.

The event is free to attend, and you are more than welcome to bring a snack as well as soft-sided balls, Frisbees and other kid/crowd-friendly toys. Please note that pets, tents, outdoor cooking and personal-use sparklers are not permitted in the Concourse area. Drones are also prohibited in the concourse and fireworks area.
