9th Annual Sandy Springs Education Force STEAM Showcase
This free event helps participants to discover and learn through exhibits by business and education leaders in the field.

From SSEF: On March 13, 2019, the Sandy Springs Education Force (SSEF), the city’s leading educational 501(c)(3), will hold its 9 th Annual STEAM Showcase from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at North Springs Charter High School, 7447 Roswell Rd NE, Sandy Springs. The event features interactive exhibits where participants can discover the exciting, fast-changing worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). The popular annual showcase is part of SSEF’s multi-faceted outreach program designed to educate, inspire and prepare public school students in Sandy Springs for a competitive world.
The March 13 event is open to the public and admission is free. Come to network with community, education, business and government leaders and learn about SSEF’s STEAM initiatives in Sandy Springs’ 11 public schools. Create your own laser show, try your hand at coding, robotics and Virtual Reality activities, discover how to prevent cyber crimes and explore the Internet of Things. Plus, experience the science ofperformance by engaging with actors from “Medieval Times” and investigate how puppets work with the Center for Puppetry Arts. And there’s much, much more! This is an exceptional opportunity to discover how STEAM fields are changing our world, the job possibilities that exist in these industries and how you can be part of the future.
