Motorists who rely on segment of River Valley Road in Sandy Springs are being asked to avoid the area.

That’s because crews will have to replace a utility road due to a car accident with injuries that occurred along the road between Amberidge Trail and Tanacrest Drive, the city said on its Facebook page.
The city expects the road will reopen around 6 p.m. Friday.
