Act 3 Productions Presents Dogfight Feb. 5-20
Set in 1963, this musical follows three young Marines bound for Vietnam out for a final night of freedom.

Sandy Springs, GA—Act3 Productions will present the musical Dogfight February 5 through 20 at Act3 Playhouse in Sandy Springs Plaza, 6285 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs. Dogfight is a hauntingly beautiful musical about the power of love and compassion with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and book by Peter Duchan. The production is directed by Liane LeMaster. Tickets are $15 to $28 and may be purchased at www.act3productions.org.
The show is set in San Francisco in 1963 when a group of young Marines bound for Vietnam celebrate their last night of freedom with a long-standing tradition, a “dogfight,” in which the young men compete to find the ugliest date for a party. An awkward, idealistic waitress turns the tables on one of the recruits by teaching a lesson of compassion and self-acceptance.
The performance schedule is: February 5,6,12, 13, 19, and 20 at 8 p.m. A Sunday matinee is offered February 14 at 3 p.m. Group tickets are available by calling 770-241-1905.
