Youth Cabaret & Vocal Ensemble Studio for grades 6-12

Auditions: December 15-16, 2016

Classes:  Saturdays, January 23,30; February 13, 20; March 12, 19, 26; April 16, 23, 30, 2016

Performances: May 6-7, 2016

A unique opportunity for students to develop the tools for expressive and healthy singing through the study of Broadway classics, contemporary musicals and pop songs.  Students will also learn to establish character and setting and the dynamics of developing a show based on theme, audience and purpose.  Perfect for any student interested in pursuing a vocal performance major in college, preparing for a vocal audition, or seeking to improve as a vocal performer.  For more information or to schedule an audition, contact zachstutts@gmail.com.

Dystopia:  The Hungry Maze Game of Divergent Death for grades 4-8

Directed by:  Michelle Davis, Liane LeMaster and Johnna B. Mitchell

Auditions:  December 5, 1:00-5:00 and December 14, 4:30-7:00

Workshop: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00-7:00, January 5-February 25, 2016

Performances:  March 4-5, 2016

Auditions: January 10, 2016, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Workshop:  Sundays, 6:00-7:30 p.m., January 10-March 20, 2016

Performances: February 27 and March 26, 2016

Students will learn short-form, scene-based improv, which stresses finding the relationships between characters and building dynamic scenes.  They will also explore long-form narrative, concentrating on character development and story arc.  No experience necessary, just a good attitude and the desire to have fun and learn.  For more information or to schedule an audition, contact liana.act3@gmail.com.

Disney’s Aladdin KIDS for grades K-5

Directed by Maggie Taylor

Auditions: November 30 and December 4, 2016, 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Workshop:  Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30-6:30 p.m., January 6-March 18, 2016

Performances: March 18-19, 2016
