Act3 Offers Harry Potter Themed Family Fun in October

Act3 Arts Academy, the youth division of Act3 Productions in Sandy Springs, will present two shows with a Harry Potter theme in October. On October 10 at 7 p.m. the academy’s youth improv troupe, Possibly French, will present ”Improv Quiddi Which House Will Capture the Golden Snitch?” The talented troupe of middle and high school students, under the direction of Liane LeMaster will have the entire family laughing out loud! Enthusiastic audience participation is highly encouraged, making the show a great way to introduce younger children to a live performance experience. Harry Potter and the Obnoxious Voice: A Sssspoooof by Jeanette Jaquish, a mad-cap musical parody of the beloved series by J.K. Rowling, will hit the Act3 stage October 23 and 24 at 7 p.m. and October 25 at 3 p.m. The show pokes fun, while celebrating, all of the familiar Hogwarts characters. The plot is full of twists and turns, so the audience should expect the unexpected! A talented troupe of young actors, under the direction of Liane LeMaster and Lisa Hatt, will take audiences on a bizarre, fun-filled journey to the world of wizards and muggles.
