Act3 Productions Announces Cabaret in Honor of Executive Director Patti Mactas

Sandy Springs, GA – Act3 Productions today announced the retirement of Executive Director Patti Mactas. Mactas retires at the end of February after 15 years with the theater company. A Cabaret Celebration at the Act3 Playhouse on February 28th honors Mactas and her many contributions to Act3.

Mactas led the company both during its years of school-based productions in Cobb County and at the Act3 Playhouse in Sandy Springs. She was key to the founding of the theater company’s Playhouse home stage in 2009.

“It is time for me to retire from Act3 and let the theater’s new leadership take it to its next level,” said Mactas. “I have all the wonderful memories from Act3, especially watching young people grow on and off the stage, to keep me company until my creative spirit screams for something more.”

A Celebration Cabaret is an evening of favorites from the many musicals Mactas directed, featuring over 20 current and alumni performers, some returning to Act3 from professional careers launched by their participation in Mactas’ productions. Mactas calls the program her “Ta-Da” performance.

The Cabaret is Sunday, February 28th at the Act3 Playhouse in Sandy Springs Plaza at 6285-R Roswell Road. A reception begins at 4:30 and the performance begins at 5:30.
