Allconnect, GNG Build Habitat House

Employees from Sandy Springs based Allconnect build a habitat house with help from Georgia Natural Gas employees.

Homebuyer Ms. Timisha Melton and her daughter Sankofa (12) and son Olymide (8) received the keys to their new home from Rob Kocerha, EVP at Allconnect, a national leader in connecting consumers with essential home services, and Mike Braswell, President and CEO at Georgia Natural Gas (GNG), a preeminent retail natural gas marketing company which serves nearly half a million residential, commercial, and industrial customers throughout Georgia. Allconnect and GNG sponsored the recent Habitat for Humanity home build.

Ms. Melton is a quality analyst for SPI Resources. Her father joined the military after high school and spent his career in the military. She was born in Germany, and raised in South Georgia. She enjoys travel, dance, festivals, reading, and exercise. She has two children. Sankofa is in the 6th grade and she enjoys cheerleading, dance, acting, and making videos. Olymide is in the 2nd grade and he enjoys Minecraft. Ms. Melton is eager to own her own home so that she can provide stability to her children and also have her own garden. She believes that homeownership will be a great accomplishment and she is very proud and excited to be on this journey.

This is the first Habitat for Humanity home jointly built by Allconnect and Georgia Natural Gas. IHG and The Home Depot also sponsored the home build.
