Alorica Wants To Hire Seasonal Call Center Employees

The North Fulton Career Center in Sandy Springs on Friday will host an on-site recruitment session for seasonal customer service agents.

The Fulton County Workforce Development and Alorica on Friday will host an on-site recruitment session for seasonal customer service agents.

The session will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 31 at the North Fulton Career Center at 7741 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.

Employment as a seasonal customer service agent is a temporary opportunity. All candidates must complete an assessment before an interview. Applicants must complete the assessment online.

Candidates selected for positions will work from the call center located at 2120 Barrett Park Drive in Kennesaw.

The call center’s hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. Agents will work from Nov. 14 to Dec. 8 and full-time positions are available.

Customer service specialist job description

  • Agents will be taking inbound calls from new and existing business customers to answer inquiries, offer recommendations and provide support for client, products or services.
  • Agents will be expected to create an exceptional customer experience while engaging in needs based dialogue.
  • Interaction with customers is primarily phone-based via incoming calls. Whatever the mode of interaction, agents will need to come across with clear, effective verbal skills and a friendly, upbeat style.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass background check
  • Basic keyboarding skills
  • Technical aptitude is a plus, but not required for all positions
  • Good listening skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast paced team environment
  • Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position

Applicants are required to wear business attire. No jeans, t-shirts, or sneakers will be allowed at the session.
