• Allen Stone and Nicotine Dolls to headline Blue Stone Arts & Music Festival (roughdraftatlanta.com) — Sandy Springs is gearing up for the free Blue Stone Arts & Music Festival at City Springs on Sept. 25–26, featuring headliners Allen Stone and Nicotine Dolls. Residents can enjoy two days of live music, a large artist market, kids activities, food trucks, and interactive performances from Squonk's "Joy Machine," all produced by the City of Sandy Springs with local sponsors.

• MARTA to update more than 30 routes, schedules; 5 already changed (wsbtv.com) — If you ride MARTA's Route 5 serving Sandy Springs, expect southbound trips to be realigned now that intersection work at Mount Vernon Highway and Johnson Ferry Road is finished. The agency is also tweaking schedules and routes on more than 30 lines systemwide, which could affect paratransit availability, so Sandy Springs riders should double-check times before commuting.
