The damage forced detours and briefly disrupted water service at Sandy Springs Middle School, which dismissed early Tuesday but returned to normal classes once service was restored Wednesday.
   

4. Local woman reports romance scam, police told her she may have committed a crime (wsbtv.com) — A Sandy Springs woman says a man she met on a Muslim dating app convinced her to move money through Zelle, Cash App, and Bitcoin, leading her bank to close her accounts and police to warn she may have acted as a money mule. An FBI agent notes Georgia victims lost millions to romance scams in 2025 and urges quick reporting. Residents get clear red flags to watch for in online relationships.
