• Police release video of 'slowest pit' during Sandy Springs chase (wsbtv.com) — Sandy Springs police have released video of a slow-speed PIT maneuver that ended a chase on Roswell Road near Sandy Springs Circle, involving a white Mazda stopped on Aug. 22. Officers say the carefully executed maneuver safely ended the pursuit, and the driver was arrested on charges including fleeing and eluding and failure to obey a traffic control device.
   

• Man sentenced for 2024 fatal shooting inside Brookhaven tattoo shop (fox5atlanta.com) — A man linked to a fatal 2024 shooting at a Brookhaven tattoo shop was sentenced to life in prison after police traced his car to an apartment complex in Sandy Springs. Investigators used license plate reader technology and surveillance footage to identify him as the aggressor who repeatedly shot the victim. Authorities have not disclosed what sparked the argument.
