Apartment Fire Displaces 15 Residents In Sandy Springs
One resident suffered minor injuries in the fire, which damaged eight units Tuesday evening at the Parc at Dunwoody complex.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Sandy Springs Fire Rescue investigators are working to determine the cause of a fire that damaged a two-story apartment building and displaced 15 people early Tuesday evening.
Firefighters were dispatched to the call just before 5 p.m. Jan. 23 at The Parc at Dunwoody at 1067 Pitts Road. Crews arrived at the residential building and were able to "quickly bring under control" the fire at the complex, city spokesperson Sharon Kraun said.
One resident suffered minor injuries in the fire, which destroyed eight units within the two-story building and uprooted the tenants.

The American Red Cross was called in to assist the residents who were affected by the fire. No other injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation, Kraun added.
