Armed Robbery Suspect To Employees: "Don't Move Or I Will Shoot You"
Sandy Springs police are investigating the March 8 armed robbery of 7 Cloud Smoke Shop on Northwood Drive.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Sandy Springs detectives continue to investigate a report of an armed, mask-wearing man holding two employees at gunpoint and stealing $10,000 in cash from a local business.
Officers were dispatched to a call of a robbery around 12:26 a.m. March 8 at 7 Cloud Smoke Shop at 215 Northwood Drive, which is off Roswell Road just south of Interstate 285.
Police arrived on the scene and met with two employees, who said they were robbed at gunpoint by a man wearing a black ski mask, dark clothing and a dark-colored hoodie, an incident report released by the Sandy Springs Police Department states.

One of the victims told police the armed man rushed into the store, aimed the gun at her and forced her to go inside the bathroom "while pushing the gun into her rib cage," the report adds.
Once the woman was inside the restroom, the other victim said the male pointed the gun in his direction and told him to go behind the counter. According to the report, the suspect asked for a black plastic bag and dumped $10,000 from the cash register into the sack.

Along with the money from the register, an employee's purse was also taken by the suspect. The woman said she had $300 in cash and her international identity card inside the white handbag.
After obtaining the cash and the purse, the man forced both employees into the restroom. He reportedly told them to "stay here and don't move, or I will shoot you," according to the report.
The masked man, described as heavy set and about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, fled the scene. Both victims were unable to get the suspect's direction of travel.
