Atlanta Regional Commission Executive Director To Speak in Sandy Springs

Atlanta Regional Commission Executive Director Doug Hooker will speak to the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs at club’s meeting on Monday.

Hooker, who oversees the official planning organization for the 10-county metro region, will speak during the lunch program, which starts at 12:15 p.m. Sept. 28.

Hooker oversees regional planning programs in areas such as transportation, community development, land use, water and natural resources, aging services and workforce development.

The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs has a 44-year history of service both internationally and locally to the Sandy Springs community.

Luncheon meetings are held most Mondays at 12:15 p.m. at Hilton Perimeter Suites at 6120 Peachtree Dunwoody Road in Sandy Springs.

The club welcomes interested business leaders, professionals and community leaders to visit for lunch. Reservations aren’t required but may be made in advance at www.sandyspringsrotary.org.
