Atlanta Watershed To Repair Broken 12-Inch Water Valve In Sandy Springs

The valve, which is underneath Northridge Road, will impact traffic and cause water disruption in certain areas.

On Monday, June 29, the Atlanta Department of Watershed Management will repair a broken 12” water valve underneath Northridge Road, a project that will impact traffic and necessitate the interruption of water service.

Service will be turned off in the following areas:

  • Northridge Road between Dunwoody Place and Colquitt Road; and
  • Dunwoody Place between Northridge Road and Northridge Parkway.

Work is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and continue for about 6 hours. Residents are encouraged to perform major water uses such as clothes washing, dish washing and bathing ahead of the service interruption, and to store away water for drinking, hand washing, flushing, cooking and other household uses during the service interruption.
