Back 2 School Bash Celebrates the Last Days of Summer

Kids and families can soon celebrate the start of the new school year with friends and neighbors at the annual Back 2 School Bash.

The event, hosted by the Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Department, will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20 at Hammond Park.
The community is invited to enjoy the last few days of summer at an after-school party featuring water slides, games, a DJ, raffles, prizes, face painting, popcorn, snow cones and more.

This event is free and open to the public.
Families are also encouraged to check out fall programming for their children, including the city’s popular gymnastics classes and new programs such as fencing, rowing, yoga and Pilates classes.
