Body Found Outside Sprouts in Sandy Springs

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Sandy Springs detectives are investigating the discovery of a woman's body found outside a popular grocery store.

Officers received a call around 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17 that a woman's body was found next to the dumpsters at Sprouts Farmers Market, which is located at 4600 Roswell Road.

The investigation remains active, but "evidence thus far points to a suicide," said police spokesperson Sgt. Sam Worsham.
