Change your mind and you will change your life
I intend to throw some positive thoughts your way.
Change your language. Omit words, such as diet (deprivation), lose (find). Instead use words such as "I choose."

Your decisions are always in your hands. I have followed these ideas a few times in my life. One was to stop smoking, the other was for the few pounds that accumulated with the few added years.
At some level all behavior is (or was) "positively intended." Another way to say it is that all behavior serves (or at one time served) a "positive purpose."

The positive intention behind aggressive behavior, is often protection. The positive intention or purpose behind fear is usually safety. The positive intention of eating is usually gratification, (nurturing).
Limited choice seems to figure a lot into intent. Remember choice is always better than no choice. I hear people say, “There is no choice” or “I have no choice.” In reality we do.
It is common wisdom that, "The Road to hell is paved with good intentions." Having a good intention is not a guarantee of good behavior. "I hope to start Monday;" "Before the wedding" or "After the holidays" and so on.
So many times we hear ourselves saying, "I wish for," "I hope for."
Instead say: "I Wish, I Hope and I Intend." Which one carries more energy? Your wishes, your hopes or your intentions?
What often confuses us about positive intention is that it seems we should know better. It is not uncommon for us to say we realize something is not good for us yet still persist in the behavior. Eating and smoking are good examples
While one part of us may understand something, another part may not. (Logical and gut.) These intentions may clash with one another or lead to behaviors that seem bizarre and irrational to others, and even to our own consciousness.
You become what you think about when you are clear about what you want in a goal and intent, both consciously and unconsciously.
Personally I don’t feel the unconscious is really unconscious: I believe that on a deeper level beyond my scope of knowing lies the unconscious waiting to help. You will organize your unconscious mind to sort for and achieve it, and you will attract what you want. You will be walking the walk. It will have become a part of your every day life.
