The Brickery To Close In December

The longtime favorite on Roswell Road in the heart of Sandy Springs said it has no plans to relocate.

A popular Sandy Springs eatery has announced plans to close its business later this year.

The Brickery Grill & Bar on Monday said it will close up shop after 24 years, according to its Facebook page. No relocation plans are on the horizon, and the closure is expected to occur “sometime in late December.”

“Time to celebrate what has been a great run,” the restaurant told its fans. “We couldn’t be more appreciative of you and your amazing support over so many years! Plenty of time to still come in and enjoy all that is Brickery! You’re the best!”

Located at 6125 Roswell Road, The Brickery opened in 1992 “with an understanding and commitment...that you can’t fake genuine,” owners Sally and Bruce Alterman said on their website.

“Ever since we have been providing Sandy Springs and beyond with the kind of food, service and value that sees customers come in...and come back,” the Altermans said.
